It's mid May and guess what that means? International Quilt Market! Yes we are off to Kansas City on Thursday, May 16th. We'll be looking for new ideas for the shop and new inspiration to pass on to all of you! We can't wait to share all that we find.
Wow, we are halfway through the month of April already! We had a very successful April showers event. The event was to provide a bit of fun and also a winner discount or free item for everyone stopping in the shop. Needless to say we had a very successful event and everyone was a winner! Thank you for helping to make our event so successful!
Let's think spring and bright! We have wonderful brights in the shop and a new line by Moda that has been extremely popular. Get in and find your fabrics to brighten your home. A simple tablerunner can make your day and home so much brighter!
We have Kim Schaefer's wonderful new book, her fabrics and her wools to make cuter then cute projects! Stop in and take a look at her wools and the book. You'll love it!
We are working on expanding our wool patterns and kits. We love the Wooly Lady kits and have many to choose from. Also we are carrying Granny's Legacy kits and they are awesome! They even include the beads in their kits to embellish your wool work! We have found that using threads outside the norm are a lot of fun AND Mary is working on wool projects using the Babylock Sashiko machine! It's a lot of fun and you can do some great wool work with the machine.
New fabrics arrive weekly and we're headed to spring Market in a few weeks in Kansas City and can't wait to see what we find that's new!
That's it for now. Visit the shop, follow us on facebook and you'll see lots of inspiring ideas!
Oh my how time has flown by this year. We can't believe we are in the final two months of 2018! There's still plenty of activity at the shop through the remainder of this year. Check out our classes by clicking on the green box to the right and you'll see all we have to offer.
With that, we are having our HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE on NOV. 10th! That's coming up fast. We will be making it a special day with treats, sales and this year we are giving away five, yes five beautiful gift baskets! Make sure to stop in, check out the sales, and sign up for your chance to win one of the baskets!
Don't forget about our BS Club days for the rest of the year. It's a chance to get those Christmas projects completed and have fun with other sewing enthusiasts at the same time! Also don't forget about our Friday open sew days! You can sew at the shop and not have the distractions at home!
Please let your friends and relatives know that we will be closed Sunday, Dec. 23rd, Christmas Eve and Christmas day. We don't want them to be disappointed if they are shopping for a gift card at the last minute. We've decided our staff deserves a great three days off with family.
We will be open the Sunday before New Years as well as New Year's Eve but will be closing early that day.
We will also be having an inventory clearance in December. We'd rather sell it than count it so watch for the details of the sale and the days they will be held!
That's it for now everyone. Visit soon!
This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.
Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
